The following key points should be noted when using the vulcanizing machine in the coal conveying system of the power plant:

Preparations before operation: Before taking up their posts, operators must wear labor protection equipment properly, check whether the vulcanizing machine equipment, electrical appliances and control system are in good condition, sensitive and reliable, and ensure there are no foreign objects inside the machine before starting it. At the same time, all necessary tools and equipment, metal parts for products and rubber compounds should be prepared. Rubber compounds for different purposes must not be confused. The balance platform scale used for weighing must be calibrated and adjusted before use. When weighing, items and weights should be handled with care. Do not hold weights by hand. Avoid moving or touching the vernier and ruler of the weighing instrument with your hands.
Mold and rubber compound treatment: Before vulcanization, promptly clean the oil stains and rubber on the mold. When cleaning the mold or applying mold release agent, fine cotton yarn, fine cloth or soft brush must be used. When removing the adhesive from the mold, tools made of bamboo, wood or brass must be used. Iron tools are strictly prohibited. When loading and unloading molds, be careful not to collide with the mold cavity or place the wrong template. When multiple molds are produced simultaneously, the templates of each mold must not be confused. Put the rubber products to be vulcanized into the vulcanizing machine and make sure they are placed in the correct position.
Vulcanization process control: Adjust the temperature, time and pressure of the required product according to the process requirements. Do not change them at will without permission. At the beginning of vulcanization, the rubber compound that overflows from the mold should be removed in time and can be reused. However, the semi-de-vulcanized and vulcanized rubber must not be reused or mixed into the semi-finished rubber compound. After the cold mold is heated up, the vulcanization time is slightly extended during the first loading and vulcanization. During the vulcanization process, the operating status and temperature of the vulcanizing machine should be regularly inspected to ensure the normal progress of the vulcanization process. Pay close attention to whether there are any abnormal conditions with the vulcanizing machine, such as unusual sounds or smoke. If necessary, stop the operation immediately and notify the relevant personnel.
Post-vulcanization treatment: After the vulcanization process is completed, gradually stop the operation of the vulcanizing machine in accordance with the operation steps of the vulcanizing machine. After the vulcanizing machine cools down to a safe temperature, open the door of the vulcanizing machine and take out the vulcanized rubber products. When taking samples from the mold, pay attention to protecting the smooth surface of the mold cavity and the mold surface to prevent scratches.
Equipment maintenance and care: Timely maintenance and care of equipment should be carried out. After use, molds should be oiled in a timely manner for maintenance and properly stored. The storage environment of the vulcanizing machine should be kept dry and well-ventilated to prevent the electrical circuits from getting damp due to moisture. Do not use the vulcanizing machine outdoors on rainy days to prevent water from entering the electrical control box and heating plate. If the working environment is damp and full of water, when disassembling and moving the vulcanizing machine, it should be raised on the ground with items to prevent the vulcanizing machine from coming into direct contact with water. If water enters the heating plate due to improper operation during use, the manufacturer should be contacted first for repair. If emergency repair is needed, the cover plate on the heating plate can be opened first, the water can be poured out, then the electrical control box can be set to manual operation, heated to 100℃, and maintained at a constant temperature for half an hour to dry the circuit. Then, the belt bonding can be carried out in manual mode. At the same time, the manufacturer should be contacted in a timely manner to replace the entire circuit. When the vulcanizing machine is not in use for a long time, the heating plate should be heated every half a month (with the temperature set at 100℃) and maintained at this temperature for about half an hour. After each use, the water in the water pressure plate should be drained completely, especially in winter. If the water cannot be drained completely, it often leads to premature aging of the rubber of the water pressure plate and a reduction in its service life.
